Key Factors: Renovation
RUK has provided reception services at Lansdowne House since August 2015. RUK TUPE transferred all of their current staff over to our payroll.
The reception area since RUK took over has undergone a renovation, this included incorporating 2 small reception desks into one large area in which both receptionists could sit behind and welcome guests. Throughout this time the security and reception teams had to work together to ensure the building maintained its calm and meticulous approach to customer service. The building was fully tenanted so it was imperative that the teams provided a seamless approach and kept the tenants updated regarding the works. Whilst the renovations were taking place, RUK took the opportunity to ensure the image of Lansdowne House was being portrayed correctly by establishing a clear team culture between security and reception. New processes for the reception area were implemented. The dedicated contract manager ensured all staff were efficient and training was up to date and relevant.
RUK’s professional handling of this transitional period and our dedication to maintaining a positive working environment meant that our client continue to work closely with us and will do for many years to come.
