When RUK won a contract at a newly renovated property in Manchester, we began recruiting a Marketing Ambassador straight away. This role is crucial in providing support services for vacant space within a building, and our Marketing Ambassadors work alongside letting agents, clients, and property professionals to build a brand and promote available space.
Together with the client, we went through a thorough recruitment process to find the right person for the job. We knew we needed someone warm, friendly and confident with an eye for detail, and found the ideal candidate for the role.
Initially there were no tenants in the building, so our Marketing Ambassador needed to communicate with the builders and decorators regarding snagging to ensure the property met the correct specifications. Once the building was complete, the Marketing Ambassador began promoting and exhibiting the building on behalf of the letting agents and our client. This included:
- Managing social media platforms
- Word-of-mouth promotion with local businesses
- Diarising viewings of the building
- Hosting meetings in the marketing suite
- Utilising technology to show what a floor could potentially look like
- Managing communications between potential tenants, agents and our client
An in-depth knowledge of both the local area and the building enabled our Marketing Ambassador to gain new tenants for the building. It wasn’t long before the tenants began their fit-outs, the logistics of which were managed seamlessly by our RUK representative.
